Daniel J. Laudick, Sr.
Daniel Laudick, Chief Instructor of Northwest Suburban Tactical Training Center® is a Marine Corps veteran. Having served as an operative assigned to Joint Task Force-Six, an elite Department of Defense counter-drug/counter-terrorism unit, Daniel provided training and mission support to the U.S. States Attorney, South Florida Money Laundering Strike Force, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, IRS, and various High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA’s) throughout the United States. Twice awarded the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal and the Joint Meritorious Unit Commendation with Bronze Star, Dan has received numerous individual agency awards for his outstanding contribution to National Security. Daniel is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association. In his most recent assignment, he trained contract security forces for the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He was also assigned to the Special Programs Division for the Department of Defense in North Chicago, Illinois. During President Obama’s Presidential Transition in Chicago, Dan was assigned to TEAM TIGER and participated in Operation Safe Zone. Daniel just recently completed a stint in Hollywood where he was featured in the Discovery Channel’s new series “One Man Army” 2011.
With over 20 years experience in security and law enforcement tactics, Daniel graduated the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Midwest Regional Training Facility where he earned a firearms instruction certificate. Certified as a Train-the-Trainer by the Monadnock Police Training Council, Daniel is also certified as a Pistol, Personal Protection and Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor (RTBAV) by the National Rifle Association.
Daniel holds certifications from the National Law Enforcement Training Center in the disciplines of Unarmed Knife Defense, Control Defensive Tactics, Ground Defense and Weapon Retention, and Armed Control Escort System Instruction.
Mr. Laudick has completed studies and received certification as a Counter Intelligence Special Agent by the U. S. Army Institute for Professional Development. He completed studies at the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy where he achieved certification as a police officer in 2000. Daniel is also a certified Combat Physio-Kinetics, Sudden Assault Response Systems, and Tactical Response To Lethal Threats Instructor.
Training Officer – Adrian Rivera
Adrian Rivera is a 10-year veteran of US Government services. He is currently a Federal Police Officer working for the U.S. Department of Defense. As a result of his exemplary service and outstanding qualifications, he has been assigned to the Training Division as the Lead Instructor, Patrol Division and the Presidential Protection Division. He provides protection when the President visits Chicago. Like Director Laudick, Adrian is also a former U.S. Marine. He was assigned to Military Police Company, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii where he was assigned as patrol supervisor from 1995-1999.
Adrian holds instructor certifications from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the elite U.S. Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS), and the Midwest Regional Training Center.
He holds instructor certifications from North East Multi-Regional Training Center as a F.A.T.S. Level III trainer and Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol instructor. Adrian is an expert in explosive detection, and holds an Xpack Explosive Detection instructor (red-X) certification.
Adrian has expertise in Emergency Response to Terrorism, Low Light Techniques, Officer Down – Tactical Response, Tactical Ground Fighting, CLAMP Training, Dignitary Protection, Instructor Development and Range Operations Management.
With such experience, Adrian provides the Northwest Suburban Tactical Training Center with a wealth of knowledge and diversity in his capacity as Training Officer.
Tactical Training Specialist – Matthew Boelhower
Matthew Boelhower is an 8 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He has successfully completed 3 tours to Iraq; 2004 battle for Ar Ramadi, 2006-07 Operation Al Majid in the Haditha Triangle, and 2009 Karmah. He has participated in two 31st MEU-SOC (Marine Expeditionary Unit-Special Operations Capable) deployments and one 15th MEU deployment.
Between these deployments Matt has conducted infantry operations, raid, attacks, ambushes and reconnoitering missions based from Trucks, AAV’s (Amphibious Assault Vehicles) and Zodiac boats. He has trained 6 generations of Marines on infantry tactics in both conventional and guerilla warfare. Matt has worked alongside Triple Canopy Operatives, Marine Snipers and Reconnaissance Marines.
Matt has completed the Marine Corps School of Infantry where he became a rifleman. He attended the Marine Corps Mixed Martial Arts Instructor Course, Corporals Leadership Course, Sergeants Non-resident course, Infantry Squad Leaders Course and graduated the Assault Climbers course as a Tactical Rope Suspension Technician. He is also a graduate of MOUT (Military operations on urban terrain) Leaders Course. He has countless hours of combat hunter tracking experience and Wilderness survival experience.
Completing his active service as a Sergeant of Marines, Matt has been awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, The Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
